Kits - Revell
Revell-AG 1/9 kits are actually reboxed Protar kits.
If they are marked as Skill Level 4 or Skill Level 5 than they are Protar's most detailed
'High Quality' kits. The new Ducati 996 and Kawasaki ZR-7RR kits that I have are very nice
(i.e. individual chain links), although the mouldings are soft when compared to
a Tamiya kit. Lots of room for your own
super detailing in the larger 1/9 scale though.
If they are Skill Level 3 or less, they are Protar's 'Swift Build' kits.
The Cagiva V594 only has ~50 pieces and these kits usually have the swingarm, shock and chain all moulded as one piece and the forks are are only half-round! A friend did a nice job on
his Cagiva V594, but he wasn't very impressed when he opened the box.
