TERZAGHI NOTES ON ENGINEERING GEOLOGY

A complete set of Terzaghi notes on Engineering Geology, as given in 1959 at Harvard University, has been diligently compiled by Mr. Walter R. Ferris (who was the teaching assistant) and assisted by Charlie Ripley. The notes cover a very broad spectrum of engineering geology and are about 60 mm thick. While some of the chapters may be outdated, the extensive case histories cited are always relevant. I have been asked to make the notes available to all interested University teachers, graduate students and practising engineers on a non-profit basis. It is estimated that the notes will cost $65 to reproduce plus shipping charges where applicable. Mr. Ferris retains the copyright for these notes and a letter of authorization has been obtained from him to enable us to reprint them.
