I shared Wilco's "Impossible Germany" just before their gig here in Toronto at Massey Hall. Volkswagen's latest TV campaign is breaking new ground with the utilization of Wilco's new album. In an advertising first, VW has used a number of songs in multiple spots from the band's new release. This is the first time anyone has ever used one album as a soundtrack for an entire TV campaign. They now have a commercial using the song I'm sharing today. The group has had a great start for their new album "Sky Blue Sky". It used to be older songs being used in ads but now anything goes. Here is the song, called "What Light", you may remember the ad as soon as you play this one. Enjoy this selection, buy the CD, and visit the official Wilco site. Skip at 7:00 AM
