ADVERTISING IN TAC/ACT NEWS
Recent activities have focused on working with Stephen Barrett and Paul Rapp to update the format and style of the TAC News and to develop an advertising strategy. The purpose of the advertising is to be able to recover some of the costs of TAC News production in order to increase its circulation and distribution to the global tunnelling community. We feel that the TAC News is one of our best vehicles to promote the Canadian tunnelling industry. We encourage all TAC members to consider placing an ad in future issues of TAC News.

WEBSITE UPDATES PROGRESSING
Our next task will be to update our website. Baolin Wang and Boro Lukajic have started this initiative and good progress is being made. Look for changes at the website soon.

LOBBYING FOR THE TUNNELLING INDUSTRY
Thanks to Clair Murdock for his work in promoting a tunnel alternative for the Montreal-South Shore crossing. Keep up the good work.

EIC FELLOWS
We would like to congratulate both Boro Lukajic and Peter Kaiser on being selected to become Fellows of the Engineering Institute of Canada.

YOUR IDEAS
If you have any ideas about how you would like the TAC to better serve your interests, please contact me or any other member of the TAC executive. Contact information for the executive is included at the back of all issues of TAC News along with the membership form.

Thanks for your support,
Bruce
