Upgrading the Palm III to 8M
Requirements
The Palm III comes with OS3, and 2M of memory. It is manufactured with two kinds of memory module. See here to determine what kind your device has. If you have a DRAM based ("new") type, then the module can be modified to have 8M of memory -- read below! If it is an SRAM based ("old") type, then it can only be modified to have 4M -- see Till Harbaum's 4M Palm III upgrade.)
Sorry, but if you have any other device, then I don't know how to upgrade it to more than 8M unless it is described on my upgrade page hereWARNING
Modifying your device will void the warranty provided by the manufacturer!
