Your new Chaplaincy team have arrived!

 

Introducing Fr. Jim Roth, OSFS and Kim Gottfried. . .

 

Text Box: Fr. Jim has earned a Masters of Divinity degree and a Masters of  Religious Education degree from the University of St. Michael’s College, Toronto School of Theology.  He has served many years in  high school ministry both as teacher and guidance counselor.  He is currently the superior of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales' Theologate in Toronto.  With his order’s blessing and support, Fr. Jim looks forward to serving the Ryerson Community

 

Text Box: Kim  has earned a Masters of Divinity degree at the University of  St. Michael’s College, Toronto School of  Theology.    She  has served the L’Arche Daybreak community for several  years as choreographer and dancer  in  the “Spirit Movers”,  a mixed-abilities sacred dance troupe.   During  her studies, Kim was involved in the Liturgy Committee, planning weekly liturgy  and ecumenical services such as Taize Prayer and World Day of Prayer.  Kim looks forward to applying her studies in  scripture, ecology and sacred art  to serving the Ryerson Community.

~ Taize Prayer on Wednesdays at 12:15  (beginning on September 14 with quiet reflection and songs of Taize)

~Upcoming Events:

Get Acquainted BBQ on September 13 at 4:30 – 7:00 pm (at St. Philip Neri House)

BBQ and Students’ Mass at the Cathedral. On Sunday September 25, 2005, we will hold a BBQ for Ryerson students, faculty and staff at St. Philip Neri House (6:00 pm.) After the BBQ, we will walk over to St. Michael’s Cathedral and celebrate a Student’s Mass at 9:00pm.  Presiding at the Mass will be Fr. Jim Roth, OSFS.
