RUTI's is planning lots of fun activities for Streetsville’s 150th Anniversary summer celebration!
STREETSVILLE ART FEST: May 21st-June 5th. Come to Streetsville to enjoy finished art and demonstrations, and listen to concerts. The festivities will end with the Bread and Honey Festival. RUTI's will be participating in events and demonstrations, so drop by!
QUILTERS
ANNIVERSARY QUILT CHALLENGE: RUTI's is sponsoring a quilt challenge in honour of the Streetsville anniversary. Everyone who submits a finished quilt will get a gift and have their quilt displayed in our store during the celebration; and the winner will receive a $100 gift certificate at RUTI's. Pick up the rules, an entry form and a starter kit at RUTI's and be sure to submit the quilt before August 31st . (The starter kit is $10 including tax, and contains the challenge fabric and the rules).
AURIFIL THREAD: We now carry Aurifil thread. This fine, lint-free Italian thread is recommended by award-winning quilters. (Of course we also carry Sulky, Mettler, Valdani, Brother and Superior threads.)
We are starting a new quilting class called Everything for Babies. If you have a new baby in your life, this class will have 8 different projects for you to make. Great for gifts!! Call for details.
KNITTERS

EVERYONE
Make your own handbag. Ever wanted to design and make your own fashionable handbag?? Now you can. We now have all the supplies to make yourself a funky modern purse. We have beads, handles, palettes etc. See Classes for details.

CLASSES
The classes have no more than 3 students, though most are private. So rather than schedule the classes, tell us when you would like the class, and we will run it to meet your needs - remember, we give free lessons if you buy a machine from us. See Classes for details.
A SHEEP BAG
It may look like you're carrying a sheep on your shoulder but it's actually a lovely shoulder bag. They disappear almost as fast as I can get them in stock. There are only a few left and there are no more after that as they are no longer being made. Just an example of some of the unusual things you'll find in our store!
