O.k., so there is only one. In the late 60's/early 70's Jackson Armstrong helped shape, stimulate and ultimately warp young minds in Southern Ontario and Western New York. Thanks to The Big L (who has a neat radio page at http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/9816) for furnishing the sound byte, which gives a small sample of Armstrong's manic genius. The good news is that he's still on the air and as funny as ever although he's gone from 45 rpm's to 33 1/3. If you're in the vicinity of Winston-Salem North Carolina, be sure to check out his morning show at WMXQ. Now if only some sage program director would bring him back to Toronto where he belongs
