Here are twelve covers from my collection of books, all of which are paperbacks. ( except for 'The Killing Man' ) Why do I have a section on Book Covers? To me, they are an important part of his books. Any one who went out and bought or borrowed his books back when they were published years ago, should immediately understand the role the covers played. As well as being instantly recognizable, to me, they are works of art (At least up until the "Twisted Thing" cover). It's unfortunate that too many books these days sport covers that lack imagination or appear as if created digitally in under 10 minutes. Where's the love? The majority of books emphasize two things; the author's name and the book title. I believe that the book itself should be the main focus of the cover, followed by the author, but what the hell do I know, I'm just a reader.
