Ray Sare: Professional Biography Professional Debut: Ray Sare's 30-year show business career began in Toronto at the age of 6 with his first public performance as a feature figure skater His leadership and captaining many championship sports teams during his school years developed competitive spirit. By the age of fifteen, he was already on the road touring with rock bands as a "roadie" learning the "biz" from he bottom on up, teaching himself to play guitar, and performing his first professional concert when he was seventeen years old. Education: Upon receiving his Arts & Science Honor Graduation Diploma in 1972, Ray was a featured violist in the R.H.H.S. orchestra and went on to play for five years for the York Regional Symphony. He also studied voice with Bill Nahr of the Metropolitan Opera of Mew York Ray was now an accomplished guitarist, performing live and teaching vocals and guitar privately. He attended York University, studying philosophy, sociology and Psychology. Professional Career: One year after founding and becoming music director of the Roseview Creative Arts Workshop Ray embarked on a 12-year professional career as a singer/song writer guitarist touring North America. He lived for extended periods of time in Hollywood, California, New York City, Chicago end Florida, in order to experience the American scene. Rapid changes in the entertainment industry, the domination of the video revolution and a desire to expand into the production and management realms of the business, influenced Ray to found Artist Canadian Talent Management in 1984, allowing Ray's vast reservoir of experience, knowledge and connections, to be put to work in the music, modeling, and acting industry. Current Status: The instant success of A.C.E Talent Management led to the creation of four more subsidiary companies which extend Ray's power and influence into virtually every area of the Canadian entertainment industry, including the print, radio-television media and most major live performance venues. Future Ambitions: Ray is currently penning an autobiography entitled "First Generation Canadian," which focuses on his tough immigrant upbringing, show business experiences, his fast paced private lifestyle and his controversial, but intriguing public image. Also in the works is a children's book and character pilot project entitled Kira - The Rock and Roll Wonder Dog, based on "Ray's Strays" characters that actually live at the Band Factory. Ray would like to syndicate his music magazine columns and expand his journalistic writing into movie scripts and music reviews. He will also continue personal talent management and video production projects on an international level, with an increased level of song arrangement, production and live choreography with special stage effects. To offset this hectic, fast paced career. Ray's attention is divided between his two loves - sport and his talented, prodigious daughter, Alana-Jayne.
