Rumour has it that the Prince is out of town, leaving the Seneschal in charge in his absence. The last time there was some difficulty in Toronto, everyone was killed by the Tremere Justicar, and so when Prince Falquer was asked how his city was going to work when he wasn't there, he said that he doubted that his subjects would do anything that would require them to be brutally murdered. And as a sign of his assured knowledge that nothing untoward would happen in his absence, a Nosferatu Archon is observing matters on his behalf, and on behalf of the Camarilla.
There's been a brief pause in underworld violence, but the police seem to be massing for a continued assault. However, the crime rate in the street has declined over the last week.
There have been continual Masquerade breaches in the city. Small groups of Sabbat have been randomly doing things that have been calculated to break the Masquerade. Toronto has been able to stay afloat, as there haven't been any unexplainable pictures in the media, and reporters haven't been asking any unpleasant questions. The police and other influences seem to be able to take care of it. However, in Calgary, Detroit and New York, there have been Masquerade breaches that the locals have been unable to control, and so they have been dealt with on a higher level. Pictures from New York show several individuals who are assumed to be Sabbat throwing cars at each other. This was on the evening news on local stations, and even though the item was pulled immediately thereafter, the pictures are already out. New York has been rocked by extremely chaotic behavior, more so than other cities, as there have been huge Masquerade breaches by the Sabbat in that city. The Prince of New York has been calling for some time for neonates from Europe to repopulate his Domain, but he hasn't had a lot of takers.
Prince Falquer of Toronto has been appointed arbitrator in Detroit. That city has been officially declared a contested Domain, contested between the Brujah and the Ventrue. The Arbitrator has headed down there, and rumour has it that he intends to rule against the Ventrue. What this means is unclear.
In London, the Ventrue-Tremere war has been heating up. The Ventrue Prince gave the Tremere 24 hours to get out of the city, and the Ventrue are now proceeding to hunt down any Tremere they can find. Many members of Clan Gangrel, not having forgotten insults and attacks against their clan several years ago, have massed in the city to assist the Ventrue.
