Detroit Continues to Deteriorate

Metro Police, in conjunction with the RCMP Organized Crime Unit, have begun a major crackdown on underworld activity within Toronto. There have been dozens of arrests, and several deaths in the last two weeks. Among the dead is a Don of one of the major Italian criminal families of Toronto, who resisted arrest along with his bodyguards. Several SWAT team officers were wounded, and the city mourns the two officers who were killed during the arrests.
The Ontario government announced today that the number of City of Toronto councillors would be reduced from its present number. Mayor Mel Lastman has been asked to submit his recommendations on behalf of the city to the province on the manner in which this should be accomplished.
The worldwide crackdown on Sabbat Malkavian infiltrators continues. With their own clanmates taking the lead in rooting them out, over 100 Malkavians have been revealed to be infiltrators from the Sabbat and sumarily executed. Elders of the Malkavian Clan have vowed to take their place in the Camarilla along side the other Clans and to participate more fully in Camarilla discussions and councils.
The situation in Detroit continues to deteriorate. Brujah from across North America have been traveling to that city in an attempt to pressure the Ventrue and the Camarilla as a whole to back their claims to the Praxis of that city. Several prominent Brujah Elders in Europe have threatened to abandon the Camarilla if the claims of their Clanmates are not taken more seriously. The results of a meeting between Neil Pendleton, Brujah diplomat, and Etienne Dejardans, Chair of the North American War Council, are still unknown.
In London, England, the Ventrue Prince of that city has stated that enough is enough, and has announced that all Tremere within her domain have 48 hours to remove themselves, after which any remaining in her Domain will be sumarilly executed. There has been no response as of yet from the Tremere of that city. However, Clan Gangrel has welcomed this developement, and is currently sending members to assist if neccessary.
