Kindred Responsible?
Recent rumours that Atlanta, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. have fallen to the Sabbat have been confirmed. Last week in Atlanta there was a large explosion that took out virtually all of a federal building that housed the Atlanta office of the I.R.S. Upwards of 290 people died in the explosion, for which terrorists have been blamed, but as of yet no group has claimed responsibility. Similar terrorist actions have occured in both Washington and Baltimore. Gun battles that have occured within Baltimore have yet to be attributed to terrorist activity. After consulting with the National Security Council, the Pentagon has released statements that can neither comfirm or deny that this is a cohesive and consolidated movement directly against the U.S. by terrorist factions. The President has been calling for calm, but a vigilant watch has resulted from the deaths in Atlanta.
On the Kindred front, no one is quite sure who is responsible for these attacks. They are believed to be Kindred in origin, but it seems unlikely that the Sabbat would blow up sections of their own cities. The Camarilla has expressed concern that infiltrators and possibly imposters were responsible for the falls of these cities. The Primogen of Atlanta were meeting at an undisclosed location when they were attacked in what seemed to be a premeditated, well thought out ambush. Only the members of the Primogen Council were aware of the location of the meeting, but none of them are known to have survived.
