The recent claim of Domain over the city of Toronto by Count Rostov, the Nosferatu Justicar, has caused concern amongst other Princes, as such an action has been heretofore unheard of. This resulted in a meeting between representitives of the Ventrue, Brujah and Nosferatu Clans, the outcome being that it has been recognized by the Camarilla that the Domain of Toronto belongs to the Nosferatu Justicar. This is unprecidented within the Camarilla, but Rostov has stated that although he's been given domain, he only intends to hold it for one month, or until a new Prince can be found for the area. Concessions were made by both the Ventrue and Brujah for the 'qualifications' of any Prince who would hold the throne, but one one knows what those concessions were. Rostov returned this weekend, and strongly worded messages were circulated that the residents of Toronto should either choose a new Prince from amongst themselves or to put forth candidates for the Justicar to consider. If Toronto cannot do this then the Camarilla will have to do so at the expiration of the Justicar's term. It is only the existence of this time limit that has molified the Princes of the Camarilla.
The Sabbat continue to be quiet, and there have been no major conflicts, but the occasional minor skirmish has broken out. Many Kindred believe that the Sabbat as a sect are now powerless, and plans have been put forth to move against any city considered to be held by the Sabbat, including Baltimore, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Detroit.
There have been skirmishes between the Sabbat and the former Anarch Free States on the borders of California. All Sabbat war parties that have entered the state have been annihilated.
