Quebec City Conquest
Conclave Called?
Does De'ath Dare?
Rumours from Toronto for Early November
The Camarilla has taken Quebec City back from the Tzimisce! There is no news as to who the new Prince is going to be.
A Conclave has been called within the Domain of Toronto, as recent events would seem to require an airing and clarification of issues outstanding in the city. Niccoli Malovich, the Brujah Justicar, offered to chair the Conclave, but this was not acceptable to Clan Ventrue. Mary Tudor, the Ventrue Justicar explained that should the Brujah Justicar step into the domain and attempt to exercise anything resembling a Conclave, the Ventrue would be forced to take matters into their own hands. The Ventrue were concerned that the Brujah Justicar would not be particularly evenhanded, and so Tudor offered to preside over the Conclave. Of course, the Brujah reaction to that statement can be imagined. The Justicar of Clan Tremere was then petitioned to preside, but he declined, and made the following statement: "In service to the Camarilla, if we are called upon then we shall attend. However, let the Camarilla know that very important matters demand our attention at this time." However, Count Rostov, the Nosferatu Justicar, said that he would 'happily' attend, and do his part to restore order to the Domain of Toronto.
Will Pale De'ath, the Toreador Justicar, make an appearance if a Conclave has indeed been called for Toronto? After all, it is well known that Meredith James, late Prince of Toronto, was a favourite of his, and there is no love lost between De'ath and Patrick O'Shea, Meredith's killer. A rather infamous statement by Patrick O'Shea that "De'ath will not make it out of the Domain alive if he chooses to show up" has not as yet been confirmed.
