Rumours from Toronto for Early July
The Sabbat have solidified their stronghold in Montreal. Three evenings ago the Lasombra made it clear that the city was theirs by sending a message to Etienne Dejardans, the North American Chair of the War Council. It also appears that they have seized control over the Provincial Government.
It is believed that the final list of individuals to serve on the War Council for Toronto has been selected. It is expected that they will be announced this evening.
Timothy Briant of Clan Ventrue has returned to Ottawa after refusing Prince Jonas's terms to remain in the city - it has been said that Jonas told him he was not allowed to leave the Domain but he left anyway. This has opened up debate as to whether the Tradition of Domain grants you the right to control who leaves your Domain or simply who enters.
There is still no word on the Brujah Justicar since his disappearance within the Domain of Montreal.
Terms of battle have been decided upon between the Ventrue and Lasombra in New York. Though details are sketchy it is believed that if the Lasombra loose they must give up some of their territory within the city.
Reports say that there have been skirmishes between Sabbat Packs and Anarch Packs within the California Free States.
The entirety of New York City has had nothing but problems over the past few weeks. It seems that its infrastructure is falling apart. With the Mayor of New York currently hospitalized for heart problems, it is looking like a long haul for the Big Apple.
Gang violence continues in Los Angeles and Sacramento but there are still no reports of any in San Francisco.
Detroit and Buffalo have both had instances of terrorist violence in the past few weeks. Bombs went off in the municipal buildings of both cities. In Detroit 12 people are believed to be dead and 17 in Buffalo. An Islamic fundamentalist group, yet unidentified, has claimed responsibility for both actions.
The Canadian government and the Quebec Provincial government have started to squabble again about separation issues. The Federal Government is making several proposals to take power away from the provinces. In a surprising turnaround the Ontario provincial government has chosen to support the Federal Government in this matter.
