Wrestling Rock Star
On Monday, March 29th, WCW wrestling came to Toronto. In a sold-out event at the Air Canada Centre, wrestling matches that included Bret Hart and Bill Goldburg, culminated in a match between Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Diamond Dallas Page. In Dallas's corner stood the ancient Ric Flair, and in Hogan's corner, as a special guest, was Lucien Hawke. Hogan and Page battled back and forth when suddenly, Ric Flair dashed in to get Hogan. Lucien Hawke interceded, giving a sound thrashing to Flair, beating him down with a folding chair. Then, Flair's good friend radio announcer Randal Zane leapt into the ring and hit Lucien from behind with a blatantly foreign object, the ref's bell. Zane had been guest announcing the event from ringside, waiting to pounce. Hogan won the match, and helped Lucien recover. Lucien Hawke then went after Zane. The evening ended with the cameras focused on Lucien choking Zane with a camera cable.
