Chronic Shock Syndrome?
It seems that Connal MacArran has done it. The Anarchs appear to be gone from the Domain of Toronto except for a select few. Brujah from other Domains have been heard to congratulate Prince MacArran on his stupidity while members of the Patrician Clans have congratulated him on his accomplishment.
There has been much debate over the authenticity of a video tape depicting Alec Vert of Clan Tremere killing a Malkavian within the Domain of Toronto. The Tremere Clan claim that the tape is a fake and was used to frame their clanmate who was convicted of this crime. They are demanding that Connel MacArran correct the situation. Rumour has it that the Gangrel have said it is real, as have the Malkavians. There is even word that the Ventrue Clan may be siding with the Tremere on this issue.
There has been mention within the salons of Europe that perhaps Louise LeBlanc of Clan Toreador had an ulterior motive for leaving Paris. Isn't it odd that people seem to believe that her sire's blood is no more potent than hers.
Spiritual leaders from native tribes all over the country are gathering together on a reserve just north of Toronto for some sort of ceremonial undertaking this evening. It is rumoured that it is also a political meeting for the native peoples who still have unresolved land claims with the Canadian Government.
The Ventrue of France are in mourning. Edward Marsland, primogen of Clan Ventrue in Dieppe, France was brutally murdered late last week in his home. One of his childer walked into his study shortly after sunset on Thursday to find his sire hanging from the ceiling of his den. As he tried to take the body down a bomb went off in the room killing Mr. Marsland. Whispered rumours indicate that the Ventrue believe that it may have been part of a Tremere power play.
Administrators have announced that the Nakatomi Corporation will begin selling off its assets late next week. There have already been several bids on various sections of the business. There is still no sign of Richard Wyler, Sarah Chevalier or the missing funds.
Several Metro synagogues that were the victims of embezzlement earlier this year each received an anonymous donation of funds equivalent to what was originally recovered. There is no evidence as to where these donations have come from.
In the last month hospitals have reported several cases of what doctors are calling Chronic Shock Syndrome. Patients are being brought to emergency wards after they have gone into shock for no apparent reason. These patients then continue to have the occasional "episode" where they go into shock and have nervous fits. There is no apparent link between the different victims of this condition, and no evidence of a chemical cause. Doctors are baffled.
