HAZCHEM Disposal Inc. has been the hot news item of the day, after two of Toronto's major papers ran full colour picture spreads of Hazchem trucks dumping toxic waste into Lake Ontario. As of yet, the company has been unavailable for comment.
A man interrupted proceedings in the English House of Commons on Thursday. The unidentified man broke in & began shouting "The end is nigh, though we all need not perish in the conflagration, for Tevisius shall prepare us & lead us through the tempest into the light". The man eluded arrest & slipped away.
Jacob Powell, head of a Southern Baptist protest group has recognized Fiona McLeod (well known author) as a sign of the second coming. His astonishing change of heart was bought about after Ms. McLeod laid hands upon a quadraplegic at a gathering who then stood up and walked. She did not stop there however, but continued performing feats that defied nature. At one point she even drove a demon from a member of Powell's flock in front of both him & his followers. The awe struck Powell broke down in tears and thanked God for Fiona and for allowing him to witness these miracles.
Toronto central hospital is reeling after a chain of mysterious accidents this week that have caused more than $200,000 worth of damage. Fire was seen to simply appear in one of its corridors engulfing and killing one man. This mystery man, after being taken to the morgue, was once again involved in a case of spontaneous combustion, as the hospital's blood reserve (located next to the morgue) burst into flame. Police are baffled, and say that not one of the witnesses involved seem to be able to agree on what happened. T.O. central has made an urgent plea for blood donors following this catastrophe.

Chaos broke out at the Zurich building on Bay street Tuesday night. What at first was believed to be a gas explosion is now being treated as arson by police. The horrific carnage caused by the event has been subjected to a full media blackout. Reports are sketchy, but so far 25 people are believed to have died on the 13th & 14th floors. The media ban was placed by the Justice Department amid fears that media coverage would jeopardize the fair trial of a suspect at present in custody.

The police suspension tally rises as another 10 officers are implicated in corruption & bribery allegations. This brings the total to 53 officers who are to appear before a full tribunal.
Former Elysium site attacked by lupines. The Savage Garden was the scene of an all out massacre as one ferocious furry fiend tore through the club, devouring 'Mr Pongs' containers, KFC leftovers and at one point swallowing whole the remains of a Mr sub 8" pizza special submarine with extra cheese. The lupine in question, was later discovered to be none other than Bailey, a small cute dog who likes to eat garbage that's left laying around and not thrown in a bin.
