Rumours from Toronto for Late June 1996

The Cult of Elvis lives. The image of 'The King' was found this week cut into the lawn in front of the Law Society building at Queen and University. The large picture was made by the removal of large amounts of the grass causing serious property damage. University of Toronto Engineering students are currently being questioned about this tasteless act of vandalism.

It is 10 O'clock... do you know were the Sabbat are? Toronto seems to be overly wracked by Sabbat attacks this month. The question on some peoples lips is "Why now?" Is this just a prearranged distraction to undermine the power of an unpopular prince? Time will tell.

Lawn Ornaments take a vacation. Hundreds of Pink Flamingos and lawn gnomes have been reported as stolen off of the lawns of Torontonians this week. The scale and amount of the thefts indicate a large, very organized and deranged force of people at work. The police are said to be questioning University of Waterloo Engineering students.

If Toronto the Good is dead, its ghost still walks the streets. Various hospital workers around the city have reported sightings of a ghost nurse. Reports indicate that a mysterious nurse has appeared out of nowhere and been seen tending patients. Stranger still is the rapid recovery of the patients attended by the ghost. Perhaps the spirit of good is still out there in these times of increased sorrow. The Ministry of Heath has refused comment on any these sightings.

Is Technology Art? A large and heated debate has started centered in the Salons of Paris. Can the images created by computer software be considered truly Art? It has been argued "Can anything that only exists in the realm of silicon and electrons have the capacity to hold the soul and feelings that Art represents?" What seems to have started this raging debate is a truly ground-breaking Internet Website somewhere in North America. Words and reactions to describe its haunting ethereal beauty seem endless.

The National Enquirer is reported to be opening a branch office in Toronto. The large number of strange occurrences in the city this past year alone have proven to be a gold mine for the tabloid. This may account for increased sales of the paper of up to 30% over the same time last year.

The Talking Bunny Rabbit of Turin is said to be negotiating the signing of a multi-million dollar book deal with a large European publisher. Tremere elders still denying his existence seem to be moving strongly to acquire key publishing influences. Aaron Spelling has expressed interest in the Television Rights.

Caine, is he out there? Reports are very sparse to date, but large numbers of Justicars are gathering in Eastern Europe. There is no official word to date, but if history is anything to go by, this is just another hoax. To question the reasons or movements of Justicars can be very bad for one's health.
