The Inner Circle of the Camarilla has announced the the fugitive Baker has been apprehended and destroyed. Order has been restored, and the Camarilla and its members are safe from harm. However, there are several hundred Baker imposters still at large all over the world. The Inner Circle claims that they pose no threat to the Camarilla, and all kindred are advised to ignore them.

In a response to the recent terrorist attacks by Islamic fundamentalists here in Toronto, a protest was staged at the Islamic Community Center last Saturday. Things became ugly as the protestors disrupted a prayer gathering; By the time tempers had settled, more than a dozen individuals had been harmed.

Newspapers report that police fear the presence of a satanic cult in the city. An anonymous police source leaked to reporters a story involving the investigation of several ritual-style killings discovered recently. More than five people are already believed dead at the hands of the same killer, says the source, and nothing indicates that he's going to stop, whoever it is. Official sources deny the validity of this story, and are accusing reporters of panic-mongering to attract attention.

Homeless Shelters and Hospitals have recently been enjoying a sharp upswing in donations from the private sector. "There's some really good people out there," one doctor was heard to comment, "it warms my heart."

Holly McNamara, the kidnapped Olympic hopeful, is dead. Police responded to a call in Nashville, Tennesse, where her body was found. Details are sketchy, but some sources say she was horribly mutilated. All of America is in a state of shock.

Due to unseasonably extreme cold weather last Friday, when Lake Ontario began actually icing over in some locations, this week's charity regatta at the Harborfront has been called off. "We're waiting until this damn weather goes back to normal", said one captain.
