Tabitha Wheelwright, Seneschal for Prince Robert, has been killed by Hunters. Four of them entered her Haven in the middle of the day posing as gas company workers. Tabitha put up a valiant fight, but her Haven was set on fire, and she had to flee into the daylight, and was eventually overcome. However, Prince Robert, arriving at the scene through the sewers, managed to kill one of the hunters before the rest escaped.

In what is perhaps related news, it has been confirmed that Randolph Pike, former head of the Ventrue, is no more.

In a shocking announcement this past Sunday, Vigrid, Prince of Reykjavik, Iceland, declared her city and the surrounding territory an independent state. Denouncing her status within the Camarilla and relinquishing her official position, she invited the citizens of her city to accept her philosophy of peaceful co-existence with all clans, or leave without violence. Her entire Primogen Council publicly supported this move.

All eyes are turning to the Inner Circle now, as the Camarilla awaits the official word from its eldest. Vigrid stated in her speech that she is willing to keep up relations with the Camarilla, so long as no encroachment of rights is attempted.

Rumours that Vigrid is supported by a contingent of Lupines are as yet unconfirmed. Vigrid formerly enjoyed 9 status, and was well known as the most successful Brujah Prince in recent history, celebrating her 200th year of peaceful reign this past February.

A wave of terrorism in Toronto has citizens panicking. Last Wednesday, nine people were killed and another forty-six injured as a bomb struck a section of Front Street early in the morning. Islamic Fundamentalists claimed responsibility for the senseless attack, as well as for the massacre that took place at the Mexican Embassy earlier in the week. A task force of RCMP officers has been mobilized in the city in the interest of tracking down and stopping further attacks before they happen.

Holly MacNamara, America's number one hope for Olympic Gold in gymnastics, has been kidnapped. After practice last Monday, she disappeared, and her cohort's worst fears were realized as a ransom note was delivered to the team. Police scour the nation for any sign of her while America holds its collective breath, praying that its seventeen year-old sweetheart is returned unharmed.

Ghoulish fun at Maple Leaf Gardens! Glam-gore band "Lucien Hawke and the Masquerade" performed to a packed house, providing the fans with a kind of gut-churning raunch extravaganza rarely seen before. One fan was quoted as saying "Holy shit, man. I think my brain is bleeding! I love it!" Music Critic Parker Allen said "The music feels like being kicked in the teeth with a beer-soaked pair of iron clogs, and the stage show is sickening. If they haven't been signed to a major label yet, look for it to happen any day now."

Angry family members and supporters of those afflicted with the "sleeping sickness" protested at Queen's Park yesterday after the experimental cure for the illness was tied up in legislation preventing its use on human subjects. "There are laws for this sort of thing," said a spokesperson for the Health Minister, "We have to be sure it's absolutely safe."
