Berlin has fallen silent. After a devastating attack on the natural gas transport piping network that collapsed huge sections of the city's streets and sewers and incinerated entire blocks, the assault came to an abrupt halt. Stunned survivors now shift through the rubble in search of lost loved ones, hoping against hope that a rescue is still possible. Held in high esteem for their contributions in this time of horror and injustice are Marco of Clan Nosferatu and Louisa of Clan Gangrel for their sheltering of many, and Kallisti, Archon of Clan Toreador, for her organizational assistance.
Investigations overseen by several Justicars continue in Germany. The Justicar of Clan Tremere is set to give a speech tomorrow night in Vienna. All seek the maniac Baker, the man responsible for the carnage in Berlin. The Blood cry has gone up worldwide.

Terror in the theater! On Monday, March 11th, during the opening performance of Richard III, Stephen Lacroix, who was playing the lead role, murdered his co-stars on stage in plain view of the audience. One individual who attempted to subdue Lacroix was throw into a spotlight, and is currently listed in 'serious' condition. Police captured Lacroix immediately after the show. He is charged with five counts of murder, and one count of aggravated assault.

The Guardian Angels organization has been revived, this time with the full support of Toronto Police and the mayor. "We're going to clean up this city" promised Edward Baines, chief organizer. "We're going to make the streets safe at night again... for everyone."

Conrad Sands, Assistant Chief of Police in Toronto, has announced this week that he, personally, will be heading a new self-regulating force within the Police Department. This division will be responsible for the investigation and dispensing of justice to officers suspected of illegal activity. All investigations will be open to the media. And Sands isn't just kidding around. Two days after opening the division, nine police officers were charged with corruption, accepting bribes, and trafficking narcotics. Their upcoming trial will be televised.

Inmates escape from Osssington Mental Hospital. Early Sunday morning, four patients at the hospital managed to escape their confinements, running free on to the city's streets. one of the inmates, Jennifer Sheckly, was being held for psychiatric evaluation pending her trial for the brutal murder os six year-old Jerry Marks. A man hunt is now under way. Physicians at the hospital are at a loss. "Our security is sound" says Dr. Walter Phibes, "They just somehow managed to slip out. We're working double-time to make sure nothing like this happens again."

Doctors at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital say they believe they have a cure for the bizarre "sleeping sickness" that has held hundreds of people in a near constant state of sleep for years, and in some cases, decades. "We're very hopeful" said Dr. Joanne Powers, lead physician of the project. "We're ready to attempt administration of the cure this week."
