Elysium was held March 18th in the year of our Lord 1997, in the Anja James Memorial Theatre, a building designed by Ophelia Vale of Clan Toreador, a former Seneschal.
At the beginning of the evening, Prince Isabella held a small memorial for an old friend who she said had died a year ago that evening. She played played a song by the pop group The Cranberries, entitled "Everything I Said".
In keeping with the terms of the new Treaty with the Sabbat, there were several members of that sect present at this Elysium. And while several of those under Prince Isabella's rule objected to their presence, relations were kept cordial.
As well, Wilde of Clan Toreador paid a visit. Absent from the city for almost a year, many thought that they would never lay eye upon him again.
Later in the evening, Prince Isabella announced some changes to the political structure of the city. Caren MacAllan would be the new Brujah Primogen. Isabella also stated that she had offered the position of Seneschal to Kiril of Clan Ravnos, but he had declined, saying that it would cut down on his fun. And so Isabella announced that Ibrahim of Clan Tremere and Mercy Will of the Setites would be her Seneschals. This caused a stir amongst those who were relieved that Kiril had declined the position. A Setite in such a position of power was unheard of.
