Papa Blue of the Nosferatu once again visited Elysium for more private talks with Prince Isabella. However, the talks did not last very long, because the Prince left the Elysium early that evening. Some said that this was because of a frustrating meeting with her Primogen Council. When she was leaving she told those who asked something about "going bowling with one of the Brujah". Her departure would have long term consequences, because afterward all hell broke loose.
Meanwhile, deep in the sewers, Babbette of the Daughters of Cacophony, Uberto Giovanni, and Siglaf Thorvaldsson were journeying with Loucian Layfay of the Samedi to his haven when they were attacked by Rainbow, an amorphous creature that had infested the sewers for some time. It had been thought that Rainbow had been recently destroyed, but this was obviously not true. They barely escaped with their lives.
Back at the Elysium, Papa Blue's presence at the last Elysium had been noticed, and a gentleman known to many arrived. His name was Simon Friedmont, and he had gone missing a few months previously. He proceeded to scour the Elysium for Papa Blue, claiming that the Nosferatu was an infernalist. When asked how he knew this, he revealed that he had changed his allegiance to the Sabbat, and that Papa Blue was well known to the sect. This enraged Dieter Halsten, the Seneschal, who's view of the Sabbat was well known. Dieter and Ibrahim, the Tremere Primogen, would have dearly liked to attack Mister Friedmont, but his majestic stature prevented them from doing so. Even so, Elysium was thrown into turmoil. But Papa Blue was very good at hiding, and Simon couldn't find him. It was discovered later that Simon had flushed the Nosferatu from the building, and that an Assamite hit squad had booby-trapped his car, so that when he tried to escape, he was blown to kingdom come. But Simon left the Elysium uninjured, and strolled off into the night.
