Elysium was held March 19th in the year of our Lord 1996 at the Sagewood Chateau, residence of Shamus Kleo Andrews, Primogen of Clan Malkavian. Shamus' residence has very interesting decor, revolving around a fish motif. Shamus said it was designed by the bastard child of M.C. Escher and Salvidor Dali. At the opening of Elysium, Shamus unveiled an extremely life-like, as well as extremely nude, statue of Randolph Pike, head of Clan Ventrue. Some say that Randolph is no more, but he was seen briefly that night.
Many of the mighty were humbled this Elysium. Wilde, Primogen of Clan Toreador, had several status points removed. Prince Robert wanted to remove all but one, but apparently was temporarily thwarted by some technicality. Something about status awarded by one's clan, or something like that.
Archon Ironside, who was at Elysium doing what Archons do best, made a very suprising announcement. Saying that he was not perfect, and prone to the same flaws as everyone else, he removed one of his own status points, that of Respected.
Approximately midway through Elysium, a rumour circulated that two
Sabbat packs were about to attack, but the security forces immediately
left to deal with them, and Elysium was not disturbed.

At Elysium's closing, Travis of Brujah, Sheriff of Toronto, was removed from his position, as well as stripped of all status save Acknowledged. Apparently his crime was so heinous that only the intervention of Archon Ironside saved him from destruction. No one would say what Travis' crime was.
And finally, The Prince placed a travel restriction on all kindred entering or leaving Toronto, to come into effect at sunrise.
