Elysium was held March 5th in the year of our Lord 1996 at the night club of David Saint Joan of Clan Tremere, the clan whip. The club is located on Queen Street East, and was once a bank. The interior is decorated with the distintive Saint Joan Paisley.
At the beginning of Elysium Prince Robert announced that he had heard that there was some dissatifaction with his rule, and he urged anyone who thought that they could do a better job in the office of Prince to come and speak with him. If Robert agreed with them, he would willingly step down, but if he disagreed, he might kill them. This met with very mutted applause.
The Tremere received a gift from the clan headquarters in Vienna. At first it appeared to be a full size and extremely life-like statue of a man holding a two-handed sword, but all of the Tremere gathered around the statue, and spoke what sounded like a magic spell, and the statue suddenly and violently came to life! At first he threatened to kill anyone who came near him, but the Tremere eventually calmed him down. He said his name was Etieme Mergouiené, Baron of Reme-le-Chateau. And he also said that he was a changling! The Tremere did not reveal why they had received such a gift.
Everyone's favorate Archon Ironside showed up, for reasons known only to himself, but said he was going to speak to everyone that night, starting with the members of clan Brujah. After their interviews, some of the Brujah said that Ironside asked them to recite the Traditions in order, or lose status.
At the end of Elysium, Prince Robert revealed that his childe Enya had created a childe of her own without the Prince's permission. And as this violated the Tradition of Progeny, he said that she must be punished. And with that, he killed her in front of everyone, and she turned into a pile of dust.
And then the lights went out.
