The rumours of a Camarilla stronghold in Toronto are true. I was inside
it.
All the Toronto Kindred were officially condemned as Sabbat by Justicar
Mary Tudor of Clan Ventrue some months ago. Many Kindred have felt this
declaration was entirely unsubstantiated by any evidence whatsoever, but
until now the condemnation has not been officially challenged.
I was part of a small team of Brujah, organized by the late Peter Franco,
which journeyed into Toronto on February 4th to find evidence of a Camarilla
presence. After weathering a conflict with Sabbat forces, we found
ourselves in front of a building, which we soon discovered is the Elysium
for the city's remaining Camarilla Kindred.
So why was there no contact between this Elysium's Kindred and the outside
world? As we were informed by Peter, after the Sabbat conquered most of
the city, they contained the remaining Camarilla inside a mystical barrier
known as "the Box" which covered a significant portion of the downtown
area. The Box was strong enough to prevent the use of Disciplines through
its walls.
For reasons which are still unknown, the Box disappeared - this is why we
were able to enter Toronto. I have spent the past week interacting with
the Camarilla Kindred here, and by the time you read this letter I
will already be back in Erie.
I urge the Camarilla to examine my evidence and address this situation
with the seriousness it deserves. If anyone wishes to accuse me of being
Sabbat, I urge them to come to Erie and voice their charges there.
