Ernest Fenollosa (1853-1908) was curator of Oriental Art at Museum of Fine Art, Boston and also curator of Imperial Museum, Japan. He assisted Bunshichi Kobayashi for the Hokusai exhibition at the Nihon Bijutsu Kyokai, Ueno in 1901.
