• Editorial assistant at midsize trade book publisher.
• Arts and entertainment editor for the Canadian Global Almanac, revising the section to include more Canadian content.
• Screened unsolicited manuscripts, wrote manuscript evaluations and proposed original book projects.
• Wrote and copy edited catalogue and jacket copy.
• Liaison with freelance editors, designers and production artists.

• Editorial assistant on six-week placement as part of the Book and Magazine Publishing program at Centennial College.
• Updated a directory of 1,800 designers, illustrators, photographers and stock agencies.
• Contacted everyone receiving free subscriptions to confirm their ongoing interest and collect data for a CCAB audit.
