At the cemetery at St. Symphorian, located outside the city of Mons, Belgium  the remains of Lt. M.J. Dease of Great Britain, awarded the Victoria Cross by losing his life protecting the British withdrawl from Mons in August of 1914. One grave away you will find Private George Lawrence Price of Canada, killed by a sniper of the last day of the war - November 11, 1918.
