The Canadian Monument at St. Juliaan, located about 5 kilometres out of Ieper (Ypres), Belgium. At this site, using little more than urine soaked cloths wrapped around their faces,  the Canadians held the German's first gas attack in 1915 - preventing a full breach of the Western Front.
