CLIMIE FISHER comprise of singer and guitarist Simon Climie, and keyboard player Rob Fisher. You may remember Rob Fisher - he was one half of Naked Eyes, the duo that released two albums containing two top ten hits (including "Always Something There To Remind Me") during the early 80's. After the split of Naked Eyes, Rob Fisher's songwriting talents temporarily took a back seat, but his skills at both electronics and keyboards ensured that he was always kept busy as a studio musician. You will have heard, probably unknowingly, many examples of his work, such as the insiduous bass line that introduced Billy Ocean's #1 single "When The Going Gets Tough".
Simon Climie also has a very prestigious background. He has either written or co-written several hit songs over the past few years, icluding Pat Benatar's "Invincible", Smokey Robinson's "No Time To Stop Believing", Jeff Beck's "Ecstasy", and I Knew You Were Waiting For Me", the Aretha Franklin/George Michael smash duet. Like Rob Fisher, Simon's electronic keyboard prowess is also impressive - his Fairlight programming skills for example, can be heard on Scritti Politti's Cupid And Psyche album.
"Love Changes (Everything)" was written by Climie Fisher, along with Nashville's Denis Morgan. It was produced by Stephen Hague and mixed by Bob Clearmountain. This single has already achieved an incredible track record in various territories around the world; it has hit the Top 10 in many European countries, Japan, and South America.
The release of "Love Changes (Everything)" in Canada and the U.S.A. precedes the release of the CLIMIE FISHER debut album, Everything, which will be released in April, 1999
