These Converters are used to power EV 12V Accessories, or cross charge them, from EV high voltage traction battery. Two standard models are offered: H-Model: with 20A output current and L-Model: 6A with output current.

This unit is a modified Isolated DC -DC converter. It is installed between EV high-voltage traction battery and 12V accessory battery. Being a 14V output converter with current limiter, it will charge the accessory battery and keep it charged all the time. The accessory battery will provide the demanded power to car equipment when needed.. Both H model and L model DC-DC converters, can be used for this purpose. If you do not use your EV more than 2-3 hours in a day, L-model is sufficient. This is because, with its 6A charge capability, there is enough time daily for the accessory battery to be recharged. If you use your EV more, H-model cross charger is needed.
