Recently, I have seen some renewed interest in translations and tile editing for the TurboGrafx/PC-Engine consoles. I have always tried to create new tools for this system, but there's only so much that any individual can do in their spare time.
I was told about TMod2, an extensible tile viewer, and the idea of writing only a plugin, for the 20 or so lines of code that are truly necessary, seemed like a good one to me.
I found TMod2 at http://www.romhacking.org/utils.html,
but I recently heard they might have to move.
So I'm also making the TMOD2
download available here, INCLUDING THE COMPILED PCE PLUGINS.
I'd like to give credit to the author, but I can't seem to find any information except that
his name was Jay, and he wrote it in the year 2000.
In order to use the PCE plugins, you'll need to run 'makedm.exe' against each of the '.c' files to generate '.dm' files. Simple enough. Then, move them to the place where the other '.dm' files are, and modify the 'module.cfg' file to include the new '.dm' files. Then you're off to the races.
