Techno Animal's Kevin Martin's The Bug alter ego returns with a trio of ruff and fx-laden trip hop tools. The a-side "Low Rider" rocks to lo-fi breaks and a rumbling, nicely distorted bassline from Dave Cochrane (God, Ice) while electronic drones and whines create a vibe. On the flip, more atmospheric hip hop fun is provided by "Vertigo"'s double-pumping breaks and "Bass Pressure"'s hard funkin' bass synth. On the last track The Bug flash back to 50's style horror electronix for a chilling effect. The master was cut by Pole, so you know this sounds great!
