CBRA’s Canadian Children’s Literature presents original reviews of the English-language children’s, juvenile, and young-adult books published in Canada each year. Canadian publishers are advised of our objectives and invited to submit qualifying books for review. We have been very successful in eliciting the participation of Canadian publishers and provide a publishers directory as an appendix to the annual.
The reviews are organized into subject categories. Each review provides full bibliographic data, a description of the book’s contents, critical commentary, target audience age range, and a rating. Each reviewer is identified in a list of contributors appended to the annual. A subject-author-title index concludes the volume.
