The Red-legged Honeycreeper is one of the more exotic birds to be found in Trinidad. The contrasting colours of the deep blue on the underparts, the black wings, the white crest on the head and the scarlet legs combine to make this a true gem of the forest. It is not an uncommon bird and may be seen in the Northern Range on most outings; so come and pay us a visit.
