This is one of four species of Honeycreepers that reside in Trinidad. This choice bird visits the feeders at the Asa Wright Nature Centre and as many as ten males and fewer females may be seen at almost anytime of the day. It is an easy bird to photograph at the centre, so don't fail to walk with your camera when you visit the centre.
