In June 2000 a
selection of Andrew's prints were published in This unique printing process, which is carried out by a ColorSpan, large format printer, uses cutting-edge, eight colour, inkjet technology. Unlike any other previously designed inkjet printers, this printer is able to use permanent, dye inks which under accelerated aging tests performed without "easily noticeable fading for a period of 75-80 years under "standard lighting" conditions. (Wilhelm Imaging Research Inc.) Andrew was originally one of the first Canadian artists to use this type high quality printing method, which in all probability will become an arts community standard for this type of work in coming years. |
