NOELLE
RICHARDSON
Born
in Guyana, Noelle Richardson moved to Canada in her
teens, and later earned a bachelor’s
degree in sociology from the University of Windsor.

She
began her broadcasting career in 1983 with Toronto’s
CFMT-TV, and moved to the CBC four years later. She remained with the network
for nearly a decade, eventually earning a high-profile slot as news anchor
for the series Midday. She has also anchored for CTV News 1 (now CTV Newsnet).
For the past seven years, Richardson has worked internationally as a diversity
consultant for major corporate clients.

She also
serves on the board of directors for Literature for Life, an organization
that promotes reading and poetry writing for teenage mothers.
